Investors can now access independent provider ratings for banks and asset managers online on the ZWEI Wealth transparency portal. This makes it easier than ever to access objective comparative data—an important step toward greater transparency in an industry that remains difficult for many to understand and in which conflicts of interest often exist.
The ZWEI Wealth provider rating is the first independent rating system for portfolio management providers in Switzerland. It evaluates more than 500 banks and asset managers in Switzerland and abroad based on a rule-based set of criteria that reflects the key factors for good asset management: corporate structure, assets under management, team size, specialization, licensing status, and ownership structure. The data is continuously reviewed and calculated according to a clearly defined set of rules.
The provider rating provides initial guidance—it is not a final verdict. It is one of four key criteria that are relevant for a well-founded assessment of an asset management solution. Additional factors to be taken into account are track record, i.e., long-term performance and risk behavior, costs, and individual preferences. According to Nadeschda Hoidn Wiede, partner at ZWEI Wealth, the transparency created by these measures is the key to better investment decisions.
Our portal provides investors with the knowledge and tools they need to demand more from their asset managers.

The transparency portal was launched in 2023 and has since established itself as the central platform for comparing asset management companies. It offers investors verified, easy-to-understand information that enables them to make informed decisions – an important goal for Patrick Müller, co-founder and CEO of ZWEI Wealth:
With the transparency portal, we promote transparency and competition in asset management. This benefits clients and good managers—and that's a good thing!
Patrick Müller, co-founder and CEO of ZWEI Wealth
In the coming months, additional functions will be added to the portal, including tools for analyzing the performance and costs of banks and asset managers. The transparency portal thus offers investors direct access to comprehensive comparison options and is also one of several means of strengthening the long-term competitiveness of Switzerland as a financial center on a global level.
