When the client advisory experience is designed in such a way that clients’ financial needs, in the context of their own lives, take centre stage and the best solutions available in the market are identified, an entirely new dialogue about money can emerge.

During my postgraduate programme as a Chief Digital Officer, I realised that digital channels can provide valuable support to financial advice, but cannot replace it. Our market data, figures, charts and comprehensive analyses form the foundation of high-quality advice. This information can be made readily accessible through technology. Personal workshops, meetings with providers, and an investment committee that meets regularly, with a focus on individual wealth objectives, make it possible to deliver holistic, forward-looking wealth management.

Education and professional background

Isabelle Bannwart holds a federal diploma in Business Administration. Throughout her career, she has held a variety of positions in the financial services and information technology sectors.

She began her professional career with a traditional commercial apprenticeship at Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) in Lucerne. She then worked for a leading Swiss steel trading company before joining UBS AG, where she spent twelve years in a range of roles across wealth planning, business management and marketing within international private banking.

Alongside her professional responsibilities, she completed her business administration degree before spending two years working for an IT company. This was followed by a two-year career break to focus on her family. Isabelle Bannwart returned to her professional career in 2018.

Isabelle Bannwart places great importance on family life and lives in Rapperswil with her blended family and four children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time on her CUBE road bike.
