The financial industry is increasingly moving towards standardised financial planning and wealth management solutions, often shaped by the house view of a single financial institution. I am convinced that this approach will no longer be sufficient to meet clients' expectations of preserving, growing and protecting their wealth. Regular transparency reports clearly demonstrate that there are significant differences across the financial industry when it comes to creating tangible value for clients' wealth.

In my view, effective wealth management is built on independent wealth planning based on a relationship of trust, combined with a transparent selection of the most suitable wealth managers. This excellence-driven approach delivers substantial, risk-adjusted and genuine added value in terms of investment returns for the benefit of clients. My work is characterised by integrity, independence, complete transparency and a clear commitment to delivering excellence at every level.

Education and professional career

Loris Capoferri has been active in banking and finance for more than 40 years. Until November 2022, he spent almost his entire professional career at UBS Switzerland AG. Since the mid-1990s, he served as a Client Advisor within UBS Wealth Management, advising private clients domiciled in Switzerland and internationally, as well as institutional clients such as pension funds. He holds both the Swiss Federal Certificate in Financial Planning and the Swiss Federal Diploma in Financial Planning. He also obtained the UBS Wealth Management Diploma for Client Advisors and successfully completed the regular recertification of his professional expertise throughout his career.

Loris Capoferri lives in the picturesque Zurich Wine Country, where he enjoys the surrounding countryside. He regularly cycles, runs and practises Nordic walking. An avid reader of history, he keeps a close eye on current political and economic affairs. As a former footballer, he also follows the world of sport with great interest. Together with his partner, he shares a passion for travelling and enjoys spending quality time with family and friends.
