Education and professional background

Shea Weiss completed her bachelor's and master's degrees at the University of St. Gallen (HSG). She broadened her academic experience through periods of study in Bangkok and California and further expanded her professional expertise by obtaining a Swiss Federal Professional Certificate in Wealth Management.

Shea Weiss began her career at a foundation in Basel before joining the Client Solutions team at Blue Earth Capital, a private equity firm established at the initiative of Partners Group. There, she advised high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), with a particular focus on Single and Multi Family Offices. Her strong interest in family businesses and succession planning has shaped her academic and professional path, reflecting her own background growing up on a family-run farm.

In her spare time, Shea Weiss, a native of the Fricktal region, can often be found with her Lagotto on her own plantation, where she has dedicated herself to growing truffles. She enjoys immersing herself in non-fiction books on economics, history and psychology. As a sommelier, she also appreciates a good glass of wine.
