Shea earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen (HSG), where her strong interest in family businesses and succession planning influenced her academic path, given her own family business background in the agricultural sector. She went on to pursue a Master's degree in Business Management at HSG and gained valuable international exposure through semesters in Bangkok and California.

Shea began her professional career at Deloitte in strategy consulting. Subsequently, she took on the role of Fundraiser and Program Manager at the Syngenta Foundation in Basel. Her professional journey then took her to the Client Solutions Team of Blue Earth Capital, a private equity firm incubated by Partners Group in Zug. In this role, she provided advisory services to High Net Worth Individual (HNWI) clients, with a particular focus on Single and Multi Family Offices.
