37% of asset management offerings are rated positively
Once a year, ZWEI Wealth analyses the offerings in asset management and summarises the results in a transparency report. The majority of offers still do not meet the expectations. Only 37% achieve a rating of "recommendable" or "highly recommendable". Although this is a slight improvement compared to the last survey, it remains disappointing overall. Costs remain very high on average and continue to show little competition. Every client can request a free assessment directly from their own asset manager or order an independent audit report.
Wealth management is an important aspect of one's financial planning. Something for which most people like to rely on specialists. It is therefore all the more important that clients can rely on good services in this area. With the transparency report, we aim to shed light on asset management every year for the benefit of our clients and to contribute to further professionalisation with more competition and better comparability.
Trust is good, comparing and reviewing is better
The realisation that it is worth comparing and scrutinising wealth management services is also confirmed by the latest analyses. The services and prices of asset managers differ greatly. The quality of asset managers has improved steadily in recent years. However, a good 60 % of the offers still achieve an unsatisfactory overall rating. Those who trust blindly run a very high risk of achieving significantly unsatisfactory results. The good market conditions of the last few years have certainly glossed over a lot of things which, if you take a closer look, should already be noticeable in a negative light today.
